Honestly, this was a TERRIBLE school choice for this song. Yeah it'smy school and my locker's in the video but our community isn't affected by "the streets" and we have more than we need. But then again it's nice to say my school was in a music video so why not?

I think the message of the song and the video are being completely taken out of context. The artist are merely sharing their story and the trials and tribulations that they have overcome.

The central theme of the song, recited in the hook over and over, is "We dont back down" when faced with adversity. The song does not attempt to depict the Hood or portray DHS in a manner that makes the high school look "hood". Those statements that infer this idea are completely ignorant.
