Did we just find the BEST solar panel in the world? | 2024 Intersolar Germany | 24% Efficiency!

We visited Intersolar Europe in Munich Germany. THE BIGGEST SOLAR SHOW IN THE WORLD. On Day 1 we focused on panels and in this video I want to show you some of the highest wattage panels we found.
The panel efficiency is getting very high, and most of these commercial sized solar panels are all over 22% efficiency.

Personally, I remember when I installed a few of my first systems, and the polycrystalline panels were then at 16% efficiency. NOW we see HJT/ Heterojunction Technology in most panels with efficiency close to 25%!
The Temp. Coefficient is also very good!
Where is the end? Will we soon see 1000W Panels on our roofs?

Watt per square foot, should be the value to make the numbers levelled out.
A single 4x3 ft panel making 300
is same as a single 2x6 ft panel making 600

I scored big on talesun 400w bi-facial panels in febuaray 2024 just before the 25% tarrit was added.
signature solar had a sale for 25cents a watt on these panels, I bought 2 pallets or 72 panels.
Hopefully I can design a portable ground mount others can follow.
Solar is always custom design, I'd love to change that and see a production portable frame ground mount on wheels.

Crazy big boy panels when space is not an issue. I would like to see things for residential setups where space is most likely an issue and need a lot of power in a small space footprint

Very nice, lots of innovation, imagine we get 1000 watts panels in the near future with much higher efficiency. More competitions in battery is great. Imagine if LFP pricing drop by another 50%, there will be very little reason not to go renewables for people like us in California with base rate in 40 cents/kwh and peak in 80 cents range.

Thanks for your update on the solar world and batteries. I just saw where they have a 830 kWh battery now for vehicles. Imagine what this could do for off grid and whole house operation!!

Some amazing products there Martyna, you're lucky to be there and discover the new tech. Massive panels, but if you're a sole installer they're just physically too large now to handle by yourself, my 500W Trina panels were really too big for me (but I managed with a bit of engineering) at nearly 40kg these new units will need two people. Love your videos !!! 🤠😎👋

The problem is the panels just keep getting larger and larger. While high wattage panels are fine simply making them bigger instead of make advancements to make more power in smaller spaces, that's what solar companies/researchers should be concentrating on right now, I'd think. But I'm just a DIY'er, so maybe they are already. But those 700w panels you showed look friggin' HUGE!

looking at 33 390w meyer burger panels but would much prefer avoiding glitches in the arizona location....so prefer german production...ant thoughts on distributors for the german production???
