Actually! When oranges are peeled, the air inside it gets released, when it’s not peeled, theres air stuck inside, thats why they float like a boat!

My buddy thought he had texted me and hadn't heard back from me in two days. His partner asked him if he was sure he actually texted me. He wrote the text and never sent it. I responded within two minutes of receiving it. I know we've had the technology for a while now, but it still feels new so I won't @ you if you don't @ me, bro.

The reason why the orange floats is because there are air bubbles between the orange peel and orange pieces, and by removing that shell, the air leaves and the orange sinks.

I second the one on not needing to normalize adult stuff. I went to a restaurant by myself the other day and the next day i took myself to ikea for no particular reason. Your an adult, you don’t need someone to hold your hand to do things, though i admit that would be nice 😂

My husband texted me a question, and I texted back an answer. Then I waited hours for a reply but never got one. When he got home from work, I asked him why he never replied and he was like, "You never texted me?" I whipped out my phone saying, "Yes I did." And boom.... there had been no reply from me😂 We had a good laugh about it. He brings it up from time to time.

The orange is bc with the peel it has air pockets making it more bouyent to float and without the peel
The pores with air in the orange fill with water making it sink

To anyone curious about the orange one, it’s because the peel has little air pockets that release when it’s taken off. That’s why the peeled one sinks.
