My dear friend, ‘sorry’ in Russian are Извините, Простите, Прошу прощения, Я извиняюсь, Мне так жаль. So there are a lot of ways to say sorry in Russian 🙌☺️

1. There are no ghettos in Russia. Poor areas with rather shoddy housing, yes, but no ghettos in a traditional sense of the word. 2. To call a black girl "shokoladka" (chocolate) is, generally, not viewed as offensive by people who use this word, so try not to be offended. On the contrary, it is often used as a term of endearment, since chocolate is considered sweet and desirable. Of course, everything depends on the context and intent. Also, words "negr" (male) and "negrityanka" (female) are very neutral to describe a black person, and have nothing to do with the "N-word".

Which part of Russia are you? Life in places Moscow, St Petersburg, etc is very different from places like Vladivostok in the far eastern part of Russia. Russia is so big it's the biggest country in the world. Imagine that

hi Agnes.
I actually bought two pairs of shoes, boots to be precise, at hundred rubles for each pair and it was five hundred naira for a pair, back then, (before the inflation skyrocketed).😁

They should come and buy a course from Nigerian okrika vendors and learn how to shout "cheat me, cheat me"😂. Culture shocks can be pretty funny, I've heard stories, hope to tell my experience soon.

By the way, I love your hair 😍

Mmm actually if a black girl would call me "сгущёночка" (condenced milk in russian) that would be super-adorable)
So calling a chocolate is not considered to be offensive in russian society (although it could be in Nigerian i don't know)
And yeah welcome to Russia)

Why not call her “cierna” (pronounced chadna)?? It mean black in Slavic languages. Shokolada isn’t proper.
