"Kawleeya" dance is the style of the Gypsies of Iraq, which allows the normally repressed women to release their frustrations, and show off their hidden assets, sensuality, and power. This version was adapted by Sherifa el-Bakkar from a choreography by Sabrina of San Diego, and was performed July 13, 2014 at the El Morocco Restaurant in Pleasant Hill, CA.
