Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation Keter Class object, SCP-5254 - Gotta Catch 'Em All Animation.

SCP5254 refers to the anomalous transformation of a humanoid or object into one of 980 fictional creatures designed by The Pokémon Company. The transformation event occurs upon prolonged, extensive adornment of fashion accessories and other pieces of clothing that specifically resemble a creature's anatomy.

Post-mortem dissections of SCP 5254 instances have shown the transformation event to be fatal to most organic life-forms, physically transmuting synthetic components (like cotton and plastic composites) into flesh, muscle tissue and other bodily fluids comprised of foreign DNA, to the point the original entity's genetic make-up is unrecognisable.

Fun fact: In the actual article, the Foundation tested the effects of the tainted merch with some D-Class. Their second test, involving a cosplay mask, had the D-Class go “This is stupid.” In addition, when the MTF “Nine-Tailed Fox” raided Ser Viper’s compound, they had to face down a Charizard. Their reaction?

MTF Member 1: “WHAT THE F*CK IS THAT?!?!”

MTF Member 2: “ENGAGE! ENGAGE!”

As a pokemon fan, a transformation fan, and someone who once had similar ideas more than a few times (including for an entire mystery series), I absolutely loved this story!

I feel so bad for the victims tho…

Edit: I’m actually starting to come up with my own version/continuation based on my series, where the victims get taken to a special secret facility where they can be taken care of, either brought there by the Foundation or by the mysterious Caretaker, who does his best to look after them, making sure they’re all safe and comfortable

not really gonna lie, but this anomaly would actually be genuinely terrifying and sickening to witness. Imagine. REALLY. Watching someone be contorted to a pokemon. POKEMON! And imagine you yourself being the target of this anomaly. Uninagiable pain, and after that, being poked around by scientists, or killed either way.

I do feel sorry for the fan girl who got turned into Pokémon Lucario 🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊💙💙💙💙💙. But I do hope for her that there would be a solution to reverse her transformation.

Besides, in my opinion of saying this: "monsters don't come from those on how they look, monsters only come from those who have the darkest hearts" and that fan girl who haved been turned into Lucario in a shocking transformation, she's just a woman with an innocent soul within and I do hope for the best for her that she doesn't get caught or be seen by anybody including the Foundation(SCP), and may the lord himself help her "by all means necessary."

The Foundation developed Palword to combat the spread of SCP-5254. Displacing and memory holeing the pokemon franchise is by far the most effective way to contain the object.

Aura, Lucario used aura to attack as well as sense others. Its most famous move is aura sphere and I’m pretty sure the Lucario-girl was using agility or Quick Attack as Lucario can learn either one

Gengar guy unknowingly used the ability levitate to float. Weezing also can have that ability but I guess due to the transformation on the siblings not being humanoid they couldn’t use it. That or they had Weezing’s other ability Natural Gas.

I’m pretty sure the Squirtle guy use withdraw to protect himself and the Garchomp guy used dig to escape at first. Garchomp-guy might also have the ability rough skin to explain his hard skin.

I would suggest the foundation create an MTF that knows not only about Pokémon but their moves and abilities to deal with 5254. Maybe have some kind of tech or have an agent turned into an instance that can use Foresight or Oder Sleuth on those that turned into ghost type Pokémon just to be safe as those moves nullify ghost types tangibility toward normal attack.
