When I was a child my mother used to make tomato salad or when she made mayonnaise salad she used to add in some tomato chops. Despite everybody liked it, I couldn't get used to eating tomato because I didn't like its taste. Now, as a grown-up, I love it. So I can say that I got used to eating tomato as I grew up. Today I'm used to it. Unfortunately though, my husband doesn't like it, and then I only eat tomato when I go to a restaurant. Now, I'm trying to slim down by cutting carbs, but I'm not getting used to stopping eating bread, for example. I can't get used to living without bread.

Thank you for your video!
I just have a question if you don't mind.

I got used to driving in London. & I am used to driving in London.
Doesn't it have the same meaning?

How would you explain the difference in these two sentences?
Thank you in advance!

I think it's not easy task to listen and understand quickly this sentence "I have been used to driving in Rome". Or "I've been used to driving in Rome". But the class was very interesting. Thank you.

Hi, i've liked your vídeo... But i have an important question, "be used to and get used to" is not the same? because if you say: I was used to working on mondays, you can say I got used to working on mondays... Not? so, you can utilise the 2 forms for the past, present and future... I'm feeling so confused, please, TELL ME. Thank you a lot, and greetings from Venezuela. ♥♥♥

and a other question: do we always use the verb form "'-ing"? "im getting used to eating with chopsticks" or is it "im getting used to eat with chopsticks"?
