Got my test booked for May, so I’m hoping things will have been sorted by then, but if not I totally understand if my test is moved as I support anyone currently fighting for more money and a better living.

I tried to get back onto the DVSA website after booking the test to look for a cancellation, but it wouldn’t let me on because I had a test booked. So how are you supposed to do it?

It's a tricky one. I support strikes for pay and I believe every industry has a right to do so and never get angry with any for doing so. It's tricky though because the only people it hurts is innocent learners. Correct me if I'm wrong but it doesn't matter to the government if people are passing tests or not. It's not like most other industries where a strike affects the bottom line of the company.
