Ovechkin should have been higher ranked. The guys on their belly and knees just swatting the puck toward the net should be lower ranked. 1, 2, and 3 should be Ryan, Ovi, and Tarasenko, and the order wouldn't matter. All great goals.

Nyquist's goal was very nice, but number 1 for this is way too high

People are gonna say Ovi's should be number 1, or Tarasenko, or Ryan, but those kind of goals happen every year. Nyquist's type of goal is incredibly rare, I've never seen anything like it. It may not be the most skilled but it's the most memorable imo.

#1 was pure greed. Nothing fancy about it. OV, Tarasenko and Ennis are best 3 with Ryan honorable mention

Why nyquists goal deserves to be number 1

1. It was the longest a single player has maintained offensive zone pressure in the last 8 seasons.
2. It was the longest a single player has maintained offensive zone pressure then scoring in nhl history.
3. That goal is the difference between the SENS and wings in the sendings

And to everyone saying he is a puck hog, please find me one moment in the entire 30 seconds where it would have been smart for him to pass the puck.

The people that are complaining about Nyquist's goal are just new to hockey.  Watch a few more games and you will understand why that was #1.

Unfortunately Tripp Tracy was right...That was Alexander Semin's best play all season. For the first half you weren't sure if he was even on the roster.

I remember watching that game between New Jersey and Boston and I saw that goal scored by Griffith as it happened. Hate the Bruins, but that was a hell of a goal. Still gives me goosebumps seeing it again and again.

Benn vs Columbus, Scandella vs Nashville, Tarasenko vs NJ and EDM, come on NHL. Nyquists goal wasn't that spectacular
