The Beatles - And Your Bird Can Sing - Anthology 2 version - 12 string guitar part

This video is to replace my earlier video uploaded in January 2016 which had lower resolution.

In this HD version, you should be able to see more clearly the fingering on the fretboard.

This video covers the 12 string guitar part on the Anthology 2 version of And Your Bird Can Sing, the one with the stoned giggling by John and Paul.

I always liked the piercing guitar jangle of The Byrds that the Beatles adopted for the earlier version.

The 12 string parts are not difficult but would almost certainly tax a beginner of guitar.

I believe George used a capo on the second fret of his Rickenbacker 360/12 (almost certainly the second one he received in August 1965). Using the capo on the second fret makes it easier to get the strummed F# minor chords of the bridge to sustain.

The earlier January 2016 video will be made private. It clocked up 6,620 views during its run.

As expected there was a copyright notice as soon as I uploaded.

Danny, this sounds so very nice. When I saw the Ricky, I realized this would require headphones. Your tone is melting my brain. I expect nothing less from you my dude. Thanks for your commitment to tone. It means everything.

Wow that sounds so different! I must admit I've never seen a 12 string electric guitar.

I agree about the sound of this version.

I can't play this on my 12 string because the capo won't fit over the neck :(

What chords are those without the capo?
I know C is D but what’s the rest? Please and thanks
