Older updates:-

I am still experiencing problems with my MVS version. Please bare in mind that this is a new cart and work to the firmware is still ongoing. For the most part very few people have reported any problems with the cart but unfortunately I am one of the few. I will do a follow up video once everything is sorted.

23/12/2016 - Working OK on 4 slots now! They are doing more testing and more changes to resolve any other minor issues. Most people aren't having any issues at all, if you happen to have any problems just bare with them on upcoming patches. Remember this is a new product and there are lots of MVS models to test against.

17/12/2016 - 4 slots are being worked on at the moment - A firmware update should be available once they've tested it working properly on a 4 slot.

17/12/2016 - If you experience any problems on an MV1FZ, check your '24Mhz crystal can' on your MVS is connected to the grounding strap. On some MV1FZ I have found the grounding strap floating around the can - this can cause jittery clock, which can cause CRC errors and other problems. It might apply to some other MVS models too.

I spotted last night that if you press SELECT + START whilst in the menu, there's already a manual backup RAM load and save option!!! =D I will show this in the next video.

Yeah I am also a collector at heart, and while I do consider multi carts and flash carts etc. acceptable retro gaming media nowadays, its always been the owning the original media / carts that gives me most enjoyment :-)

wondering what there AES versions comes out I would be like a pig in shit play that I do have a MVS but is is a bit of a hassle to get it setup with the supergun and that.

Hi gadget Uk thanks for the great review! I have just picked up one of these carts. I noticed you have crossed swords 2 there. Do you have a link to download the rom dump for this. As i would like to just leave this cart in the slot without always going for my original games. Cheers

Do we have any updates regarding the option to be able to change the thumbnails to a gameplay snapshot and not the title screen?

There's no way to set this up to switch games like a 4-slot, is there? I imagine there's only enough memory to hold one game at a time?

This is really cool! I remember awhile back it was said that this might not happen. Although I'm near the end of my buying for MVS, this would of been great when I started collecting for the system. I still have my Phantom 1 and MVS converter 2. Thanks for sharing! Too bad the MVS market went crazy.

The hardware and the software for this thing look like they are professionally done. And for it to come out unannounced sounds like a pleasant surprise for NeoGeo fans. Price wise it is far beyond my budget but I understand that the price is marginal compared to what the game carts go for.

Can we change the thumbnail to our own? we dont need the title screen since we know the name already. but personally I would put a snapshoot of the gameplay. is that possible?

I am super excited about this. I ordered one and it is in the house but I can't have it till Christmas day as my dad kindly said he would buy it for my Christmas present!!!! I intend to also buy the AES one as well when that is released. Yes yes I know I have more money than sense but the way I look at it is this, the converter thingy is about £200-£300 and has issues, so for only about an extra £100 you have the real deal. No brainer if you ask me.

can you use a MVS to aes adapter to make this work in a aes system? I know they made a aes version now, but with this you can have for both systems!
