Nèi ge, the romanization for the Chinese word 那个, literally means “that one”, but is usually translated to “that”. It is also used as a filler word, similar to how words like ‘um’, ‘uh’, ‘well’, and ‘you know’ act in English.
In the case of this song, “nèi gè” means “the”, as in “you are the” or “I am the”.

However, English speakers may misinterpret the word “nèi ge” as the N-word. Therefore, the lyrics “nèi nèi ge nèi nèi nèi ge nèi ge nèi nèi” would be heard as “nae n** nae na n** n** nae nae” which led to the song gaining attention in the Western web as a result.

This is a comment I saw and I wanted to spread it, if you are Chinese or know Chinese please tell me if this comment is wrong or not.

Ah yes.
A Japanese store.
With Chinese music.
And the guy is American.
We have all united.
Edit:For the people who are saying it’s Korean, it’s not. I’m half-Chinese and I know Chinese when I hear it.

Korean : 기다렸지
Chinese : 怎麼能哭呢
Japanese : だけだった

The song title : 大张伟 - 阳光彩虹小白马

Litterally just a quick search can help you know that its not korean
( Also nei ge in mandarin means that not you & the song lyrics are " thatx7 rainbow sunshine white pony )
