Quick tip: always massage in the direction that moves TOWARDS the heart for this kind of massage (It's not necessary for all types of massage but for this type it is). This is because what you are trying to achieve by doing this kind of massage, especially when you're using it to counteract long periods of inactivity and high altitude on a plane, is to stimulate the circulatory and lymphatic system to move blood that has pooled in the legs and drain fluid that has built up.

The reason this is important is that if you do it correctly you are helping to reduce any uncomfortable swelling and, even more importantly, the risk of blood clots. Pumping your feet up and down from the ankles a few times on a regular basis throughout the time you are sitting also helps with this. Massaging downwards, as in the video, might feel invigorating temporarily, but isn't going to actually achieve so much

Gotta be careful with those universal adapters, as they usually don't contain a step-down converter that would step down the 220V that most countries use into the 120V north america uses.

Whatever you do, do NOT cheap out on those multi plug adaptors. I've had two different brands melt and fry themselves because 3rd world countries don't have good electrical infrastructure. They're a great little tool to have, but make sure it has some sort of automatic electrical shutoff.
