So, why were Paul Kagame's children not schooled in Rwanda?

They look a really beautiful and lovely family and i wish them all the very best. Sadly, as with most African leaders/elite/wealthy, we always look to the West when educating our young. We also head outside Africa when we need urgent health care for our brightest and best. Are we as Africans not good enough to educate and treat ourselves?? What message are we sending about our own African institutions? What future African leaders are we producing by training them abroad? Will they be able to relate to the ordinary African? Unfortunately this reinforces the mentality of self-doubt in our own capability as Africans and teaches our young that we are inferior and that the best is found outside our continent of Africa. Shame on us Africa. Shame indeed.
