Elon Musk Announces 2025 TESLA Van Model V Project. What Happened? DEEP DIVE!! What's the Real Deal Behind Tesla's Mysterious New Van?
As we delve into the details of Tesla's upcoming van project, one of the first questions that arise is: What will it be called? There's been a flurry of names tossed around in the rumor mill – from Tesla Van, Tesla Minibus, Tesla Model V, Tesla Model B, to Tesla Cybervan, and even Tesla Minivan. However, the likelihood of the final name being 'Minivan' seems slim, as Tesla might not want its innovative creation to be boxed into the traditional 'minivan' category.

I'd like seats that are movable and removable as well as foldable. I like the idea of having seats in the back facing sideways to each other with a removable table so ALL can work on computers, drink, eat, play games, and see out side windows. Square windows please. 3 sets of doors each side - 2 sliding for the rear. steer by wire at center front, seat on each side of driver, screen on each side of steering wheel so driver and passengers can see them. hitch to tow at least 5000 lbs. strong roof rack capable of mounting solar panels as an option. USB ports for each seat that plug into the floor to remove the seat. bluetooth audio. Mini-starlink standard. A & B pillar warning flashes for hidden objects/movement. Heat pump standard. Range 350 miles with all seats filled
with 250 lb. passengers...two cybertruck battery packs!!! Insurance available for commercial use. Fold down/up arm rests for the driver when solo. cup holders front row seats. At least one
120vac outlet each side and the back. Solar panel inputs on the roof corner? And the two back corners --3 sets of inputs for multiple solar panel sets, each input 1500vdc max. 1/8" headphone
jacks for each seat so all can listen to their own music...microphone jacks for telephones? One really large, fold down from the roof screen for back passengers, controllable by the driver for selection. In the back, storage wall with adjustable shelves to hold groceries, luggage, etc....make the wall movable forward and back using ceiling and floor corner tiedowns

Ok, i need this... and i need it in Europe. (with less angular curves, as there's regulation in EU which prohibit the use of vehicles that risk seriously injuring pedestrians in the event of a low-speed collision (which is the case with the cybertruck))

In fact they have everything already...
- The studies on the Semi and on the model Y shows how they should organize the bodywork for a good air penetration coefficient.
- The studies on the cybertruck gives a chassis similar in size to a Ford Transit custom, wich is a 8 seater (and also exist as a transport version, same size... just without the windows and the seats)....
- They have already the 100 Kwh battery pack.
So, they only have to make the chassis less rigid and lighten the beast. and you've a big 8 seater/transport van, with probably more than 1000km autonomy in the premium/high standard version (like a double/tri motor)

It will make a killing in Europe. Passenger and cargo transport vans make up 15% of the vehicle fleet in Europe... But the current autonomy of the EV ones is less than 300Km... simply because they take existing models and put old generation batteries in them...

There is no in-depth study, with a chassis designed for large batteries, good aerodynamics... Tesla's genius teams could really come up with something that would be 100 times better than all the others... They have the expertize. It's now or never...

I would love it, I'm buying an 8 seater van straight away... --> with sliding side rear doors... on both sides. it's easier with kids. and a hatchback trunk. It's easier to load (and it protects from the rain when loading... because loading a big trunk takes more time anyway...)

If a campervan is one alternative; then make all camping fixtures removable so the van can be used for cargo or passengers. That means all plumbing and wiring and mounting would have to be
"plug and play" style. That would be a real challenge!!!!

If one van alternative is for commercial cargo/repair facility; then shelving for both sides of the van could be mounted / removed, giving access to delivery goods or a work bench. 120vac plugs
along two sides and the back could power tools or battery chargers for the tools. circuit breakers for the plugs? Just pull out the shelves and install seats and it is ready for passengers.
