Home Depot has the Echo Speed feed 400 head and rebuild kits. Also I run Echo black diamond .105 all the time. I’ve never had any issues with using it.

Hey Shawn and Savannah Stihl makes Auto speed fee head for Stihl weed eaters when I bought my first Stihl trimmer I had a Auto speedy head on mine string trimmer it's amazing it's just like your echo speed feed head but mine is probably a little bigger size maybe it's a nice size trimmer head to cover more ground it's much sturdy long lasting just like y'all echo speed feed trimmer head

I see the guard is still on TQ’s new trimmer. Does she like that model with the guard? Also, I bought the 450 Echo head, not to hold more small line but to use the .105 line. I use it to take out vines and brush. When I’m just trimming, it is nice to have a bit more line. Full disclosure: I’m a home user with only a few yards not a 5-7 days a week pro like you guys. I have the Stihl speed feed head and the wind up button get worn down and gets pretty sharp. The echo is my next purchase. I do a little side hustle on about 10 yards now. Great instructional video. Watch ya'll every night. Keeps me going with a positive attitude. Keep the videos coming!!!

For the bump cap I use a 1" long 1/4 carriage bolt it will just wear down not break off like a hex head bolt
