I've DNFed a few series, one of them being the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire, which is definitely a booktube favorite, but unfortunately it just didn't work for me. And I really tried, because I read 3 books before I finally decided to give up on it! I've actually tried to get better at DNFing series if I'm not into them, because I'm such a completionist that I have an urge to finish everything, even if I don't enjoy it, lol.

rosie, if you wanna sell out, you gotta commit to it! change that subtitle to "Booktube Favorites I Hate" and move it to the front. and if you do it, tell me if that made a difference because i want to know if it worked!

I was really looking forward to reading Fred, the Vampire Accountant. Now my hopes are crushed. I understand that the upcoming companion series is George, the Werewolf Engineer. :)

Why would an author take all the fun rock star elements of a vampire and get rid of them to write a story about an immortal accountant? OMG. No wonder you don't want to continue it. I haven't read these books, but I could see how they don't necessarily inspire a need to read more of them.
