I use paper products that are bio-degradable over anything silicone —which is a health hazard. And absolutely no hand sanitizers that are all loaded with chemicals. Soap and water is the best way to sanitize.

I stillbuy tissues. I buy like 3 rolls of paper towels a year for cleaning puke or poop. When we did cloth we had a second washer just for bodily fluids. They are older now so I just grab the few roll I need. The tissues I just can't find a good sanitary alternative that will work for younger kids.

When you have pets, paper towels are a must. You’re constantly cleaning up throw up, crap and whatever else. Also, when you clean with towels. You’re just spreading the hair around and you’re not removing it. It doesn’t matter if your cats re on the countertops or not. You’re going to get hair over everything and reusable cloth’s not gonna work.

Yes !! I need to stop using paper towels. Thats been really challenging for me. That’s next on my list to zero waste. Slowly reducing my waste.

i managed to get rid of daily pads and water bottles its a small step, but where i live the enviormental awarness isnt wide spread and finding available options isnt easy but ill get there

I don't buy razors, tampons, pads, and I hate K-Cups.
I haven't shaved in over 20 years.
I haven't needed tampons and that in about the same amount of time. I still use all of the other stuff because right now I can't afford to buy the reusable containers I need. I just moved into this apartment a year ago and I'm still trying to find things to make it a living space, homie for me. I'm 60 years old and on Social Security. I finally got my own space and got out of being homeless. After my husband died I was homeless for 5 years.
I still need a lot of things for my new place. Dishes, storage containers, refrigerator containers, spice racks, some furniture like end tables and chairs.

Good for you! Ive cut out a lot of buying certain things because (I) felt they weren't for me. But I don't feel bad Abt MY decision to still buy some things. To each their own
