It is not always a death sentence! I had a 7.5cm tumour - then chemo surgery and radiation - but that was in 2007.

Thank you Dr. Hyland for this excellent lecture. As a chemist but not a medical professional, your summary is comprehensive and clear - you made the technical aspects understandable for me. Your students are very fortunate to have you as a professor.

this Video was excellently done, super easy to follow. and Great Group of doctors on the panel. I’m not in the medical field at all. But found myself asking questions, ? as to how cancers start and why, ? is it eating choices? sugar intake or Not? Other life style choices? Vaccines, environment, DNA, etc... again this Video and Group was excellent and great information, love the slow easy to understand graphics etc. Now as I start my journey to fight my recent diagnosis. I want to thank each of you, for the great Video...

I was told by UCSF GYN Cancer surgeon that my endometrial cancer was so advanced it turned my cervix to “hamburger.”
I was offered No treatments by UCSF after that except to go home to get care locally. Almost 1 year later I switched to whole food plant based diet.. and I’m hoping for the best... No thanks to UCSF Gyn- Cancer department. ☹️

Would've been great to have heard what the dietary differences were in the study mentioned. Telling people to eat a healthy diet, when everyone presumes they are, doesn't help much.

What did those low cancer populations eat that we do not? What do they avoid that we would do well to include?
