Thanks for your continued support for us desk pilots. Could you clarify the version mentioned in this video? You keep referring to it as three.seven.one yet it shows as three.seven.ten. It's likely your way of interpreting the last number but may cause confusion to others ... well, me actually!

I'm on 555.99 and have had no issues.

Great channel, thanks for the videos!

I always check DLSS Swapper after a driver update, so I’ve had 3.7.1 installed for a couple of days now, and I've had no issues whatsoever running 555.99 with 3.7.1

I’m amazed that you are so adventurous and daring as to change so many of your configuration files….your base system works so beautifully as-is those are big risks you take for us.
I’m afraid to even sneeze or look at the sim the wrong way while it’s loading for fear that it will CTD or drop my fps.
In fact every time it boots I hold my breath…..for 4.5min! 😁

I'm on 555.85 with 3.7.10 with no issues. Nvidia driver updates are always a crap shoot. I usually stay with a known good driver until I get an update. Thanks for the warning.

Thank you for update, Also notice the stuttering with the latest update and I rolled to 552.44

At first I was very negative about the 555.95 driver, it gave me unwanted pauses every 2-3 minutes, it was unusable but I did notice this drive solved my flickering textures on some PMDG flt deck panels and on som parts of airport sceneries. Went back to 555.85 and the pauzes where gone but flickering textures came back. Did a clean install of the 555.95 driver, cleared al the Game, Nvidia caches and now the driver is just perfect. Nu stuttering, no pauses and the flickering textures are gone, really great now.

The 3.7.10 brings a major improvement in FPS (coming from V3.5 ) 65 to 86 on the same scenery and configuration. Also quality of picture is sharper with much less glittering. Tested on .85 and not .99 driver with a 4090 ROG strix

Hi and thanks for this your latest instructional video.

I always enjoy your content! Not least because you concentrate on those aspects of flight simming that are of the most actual use in my [and presumably everyone else's] set up.
And sure enough, just as you predicted, I had to reset both my DLSS versions again despite having already done so post SU15.
It's late now here in the UK and my pit beckons. So I have no feedback for you as to the veracity of these changes.
But I always see a small but real benefit whenever I update the DLSS's.

Thanks for keeping us all current.
Best regards.

Great stuff as always! I happened upon this DLSS file by chance and updated. Regarding the latest Nvidia Driver, unusually for me it seems ok. I will pursue with it until I see any problems. Lastly, since SU15, this DLSS release and the excellent Map Enhancement which I found on your channel recently, the visuals and realism (I have a 4090) is incredible. A pal who is a TUI Copilot came over recently. He said the graphics were better than in their training sim! Enough said. Appreciate all your efforts to help your fellow simmers!! Keith

Thanks for the testing update. One thing you mention is when you get an MSFS update it rolls back your DLSS version. This has never happened to me. I'm using the steam version so maybe that makes a difference.

I initially thought that the latest driver was fine until I flew into the New York area this morning and had quite the stutterfest. Will be rolling back.

Thanks for the heads up. I was in the sim this morning and things were pretty smooth for me after the Nvidia update. I was in BBD Goodwood and the MILTECH Normandy airfield using a single C-47 flight yesterday and a 2 plane formation of Spitfires in todays flight. So I am going to hold off reversing my driver for now. But I always get nervous with Nvidia updates since the major snafu last summer. Thanks again. 👍

Well... started to get some stutter on approaches recently, now I know why.

I wish I never updated to 555.99, it’s sent my temps wild and fans kicking in to 100%. Never heard my pc sound like a vacuum cleaner before but I think it has damaged my GPU. it’s a 2070S which has been functioning perfectly fine until this update. I used DDU to uninstall 555.99 back to .85 but the high temps are still there with bad stuttering. Thanks Nvidia!

Dear IslandSimPilot, I fully share your warning. After the NVidia update from 555.83 and DLSS 3.7.0 to the newer 555.99 and DLSS 3.7.10, I had several crash-to-desktops directly after the TakeOff (at about 400 Feet above ground) with the following configuration at several different airports:

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090, Core i9-12900, Memory 32 GB, Ultra and Frame Generation.

After resetting back to the former version 555.83 and retaining the (newer) DLSS 3.7.10, the TakeOff at the same airport went smoothly again.

Conclusion: With the same configuration as mine, it is better and advisable following your warning, to wait for the next Nvidia update. Thank you for your, as always, outstandingly helpful tips.
