My friend brought some chicks into her living room the day she got them. She, her kids, and I were watching them run around on their bedsheet when we suddenly realized we were missing a couple! Cue frantic search by 5 people only to come back to more missing critters.
We sat down around them to try & plan what to do. Then someone noticed the daughter's Persian cat gently pick one up and sneak behind the easy chair in the corner.
We hurried to look, and there were all the tiny birds totally unharmed. They were just a little damp from their surprise ride in a cat's mouth.🤣
