Bro, you nailed it! My mother and ex-wife inflicted several emotional wounds on me, several physical ones by my mother over 30-35 years of my life, and my ex-wife when we were married. As a result, I developed cPTSD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicidal tendencies, and completely lost my sense of self.

But each time they inflicted a wound, I fueled my monster within, and when it became too much for me, I unleashed that monster, and they got scared beyond horror, exactly as you stated.

They got a monster they made, they never imagined, they could never handle, and one they'll never forget.

I'll never forget the fear in their eyes and the trembling of their whole body when I pushed back (verbally) on each of their selfish attacks.

I dominate them ruthlessly, and they do as I say. I'm a fierce equality evangelist and treat everyone with love & respect irrespective of age & gender, except for when it comes to these two individuals.

Well, I had a little too much to drink one night and the monster came out, but I think she had to. I was in a painful living situation. The adult live in son just didn’t like me. I tried my best for a whole year. I tried my best. I wish I hadn’t said the things I said, but on the other hand, I thought to myself it had to come out to get myself out of there because I really love his father. I think sometimes your monster comes out because your sweet side just can’t do the job the monsters gotta do.
