Re: politics, keeping them off the channel puts you up there with Dolly Parton who said outright she felt it was inappropriate for her to state her political views because she's an entertainer and she wants to entertain, not go into that stuff. Her political views are private and nobody else's business. Dan, in my opinion, this policy really elevates you to someone of real class. Awesome to hear how you were adopted by Tigger.

I, too, was adopted by a kitten. An ex girlfriend and I were leaving the Grizzly Rose in Denver, after buying tickets to a concert. As we were walking down the drive lane, this kitten came walking up to us. The ex-girlfriend said we should keep her. I said no, she's a stray we should leave her be. The next part sounds cruel of me, but I had no intention of driving away. After a little back and forth, I said, "Ok, put her on the roof of the car. If she runs away, let her go. If she stays, we'll keep her." The ex-girlfriend place the kitten on the roof . . . and . . . she just layed there, so we took her with us, stopped and got some cat food, a litter box, some litter and headed home, where she was given a bath, because she was pretty dirty, fed and then we all went to bed. The next day we took her to an animal adoption center, with every intention of leaving her but we talked about it more and more and decided if she came back healthy and wasn't microchipped, we'd keep her. As it turned out she was healthy and not microchipped, so we took her home. The ex-girlfriend was soon no longer in the picture and made no demands to take the cat, so I kept her. She was about a year old when she adopted me and passed away at 17 years old. She died in my arms. She's been gone a little over a year now and I still miss her very much. Given where she first found us, I named her Rose.
