Lake District - The Outlying Fells of Lakeland - Newton Fell (Dixon Heights and White Stone)

The first walks from our September 2017 trip. The Newton Fell chapter is divided into two walks, North and South. In terrible conditions we take it on, through thick bracken and torrential rain.

'No Fatboy's were harmed in the making of this Good God that looked a bloody slog mind, when you were walking through the braken in the pouring rain and the wind was did not look like fun. You and Dave did well to persevere in such appalling weather, tall soaking wet bracken not good to get through. Shame you didn't get any views. Bet you're glad the outlying fells are over and done with. 2017 was a very wet year in the Lake District, hope you have much better weather for your Cumbria Way trip. Well done to you both. 🗻
