It looks like the animation where citizens cover their eyes in cases of danger or when they’re staggered by a shockwave I remember that’s what happens but might just be the Mandela effect

A biped is a biped is a biped. It's probable that the human and robot characters' share the same bone structure, doing this allows us so save a very large amount of time porting over and tweaking existing animations rather than working from scratch again.

We are human though, unlike the bugs and bots, and we make mistakes, sometimes a state is on a actor it should not be on.

Most probable is that this is a player or NPC animation that's on the wrong actor.

I call those ones "Bob". On occasion they stop taking damage after being disarmed, and then just follow you around the map like a puppy.

idk. It looks like [left arm over eyes, right arm at waist] could be a pose for responding to incoming fire. and then it puts its arms by its sides while it's walking. and it stuck there so it doesn't know what to do so is fluidly transitioning between those two animations

I love the fact that people are slowly learning that the automatons are just rebels, but the helldiver helmet alters the divers perception to see heartless machines…
