Same case with Wanderer/Scaramouche, if you one of the veteran players that met him during 1.1 reconciled star event then his dialogue differs a bit when you confront him again in the Inazuma archon quest

I started way after that update, had no idea who she was and they just immediately started talking like old friends when I met her for the first time in Fontaine 😂

Fr, i've accidently start fontaine event, the rose and gun event, i stopped doing that quest because i'm not finished the archon quest and in chiori quest chevreuse introduce her self like that was the first time i met her, i stopped the event at ayaka yoimiya and ayato arrive at fontaine

Or sometimes, they just flash an Introduction page, i remember one event... I think it was a lantern rite event, my screen flashed an intro paragraph for chongyun as i havent touch the hangout and stuff

This why i wish Genshin keep some event that have part of the story instead of just end it and leave new player or player who dont do event confusion
