I flew to Helsinki and drove up to Lapland via the west coast stopping at Vaasa and Oulu before staying at Kakslauttanen Artic Resort in the glass igloos. I did a quick stop at Roveniemi on the way through. Went east on the way back to Helsinki through Kajaani and Joensuu.

Loved FInland, did the dog sled thing and even wrote off a snowmobile by crashing into a tree!.

Love this cabin you stayed in. I could be quite happy on holidays in there. A trip to the supermarket for a few food essentials and that would be much cheaper than the restaurants. I don’t mind cooking a main meal when I’m on holidays in this sort of accommodation. Go to a restaurant a couple of times in a week for a treat.

Yeah thats such a pain waiting till 4pm to check in, but the cabin is sooo cute, clean, clean, and I can’t get my head around why do they put the tv behind the bed, did u ask them, I would be😊, awesome experience though to be there, thank u so much tim from the flight to the snow, .🌎⛄️☃️❄️

7:39 I agree. I've never saw anybody walking around -7C weather with jacket zipper partly open and without hat (beanie) & gloves.

16:16 That refers to the UN Happiness Index, Finland has topping the index for several years in a row now :) The history of Rovaniemi is less happy though, the town was completely destroyed in WW2 by German troops as a revenge. That's the reason you wont find any old buildings there.

It is a beautiful - Yes I agree the trees - we had mutliple days and night clear but we had a blizzard! IN feb 2020 - we loved it and traveled through Norway, sweden and Denmark - looking at flights now deffo
