The Entire History of Greece in 11 minutes

Many of us are aware of the ancient greek civilization and it's massive impact on western history . However, the often overlooked part of greek history, the era of the great Byzantine Empire, is arguably of almost equal importance.
Following the fall of constantinople in 1453 the Byzantine Empire will collapse and the once proud greek people will become subjects to a new empire. The greek spirit survived throuh the times of foreign subordination and another greek state will be established in the 19th century. A state which continues to exist till this day.
Perhaps, 11 minutes are not enough to tell the story of the greek people in great detail. This however is not the aim of this video. I made this history documentary in order to tell greek history in its entirety in a way that is both entertaining and easily digestable. I hope you enjoyed this short summary of the long history of Greece!
