10 years of Kiwi the parakeet: in memoriam ~🕊💚💛~

I'm so very sorry to share this news. Kiwi crossed the rainbow bridge on October 22, 2024. This video is to honor his long, full life and to share memories with you.

We are especially grateful for Dr. Rupiper and the staff at the East Petaluma Animal Hospital. A compassionate, knowledgeable avian veterinarian is worth their weight in gold. Dr. Rupiper diagnosed and treated Kiwi in his last month with us. As pet owners, we have a duty to keep them healthy and happy right up until their final moments, and Dr. Rupiper supported us in doing so.

This hits home pretty hard because I lost my very best bird friend about a week ago. Part of me is devastated but another part is happy I gave her so much attention and love. 7 years of kisses and cuddles and its hard to let go but she'll always be in my heart. They may be small but they bring so much happiness to our lives ❤
