Shot dead in train

One passenger was shot dead by miscreants just when the Anand Vihar kamakhya express was about to reach the New Jalpaiguri railway station on Monday evening. The police have started an investigation on the incident after the train reached the station. No arrests have been made as yet. The safety of passengers travelling on trains has and is already an issue. The number of armed police deployed on trains need to be increased to prevent crimes such as this in the future. Is the government listening?
