A big green flag for me is just someone who likes anime in general. Not just the mainstream stuff. As long as it's not hentai being the only thing they like because that's a big red flag

Naruto is super mid, but i love her sailor moon cosplay. I prefer underrated gems, but that doesn't mean i hate mainstream shows like bleach or Naruto i just don't think they're amazing or anything they're still pretty mid. And i don't consider mid anime terrible they're just not my cup of tea which is fine
