NASA is launching a study on unidentified aerial phenomena, commonly known as UFOs. The group of 16 people will gather data on unidentifiable events in the sky and release its findings to the public in mid-2023. CNN's Kristin Fisher reports. #CNN #News

Wait—NASA is “just now” looking for more answers? They’ve had the ability to see buildings up-close from space for a while now. I find it hard to believe that if anything is truly unexplained, they’ve had the answers for years— or at least some really great detailed photos.

When I was about 7 years old and living in Vegas, A UFO flew overhead and blocked out the sun, casting a shadow on my whole block. I was in the backyard with my older brother when suddenly we were in shadow, causing us both to look up and see the underside of a giant saucer. It was a smooth/shiny metallic with many many different colored lights spaced perfectly/evenly apart. I remember being struck with how close it appeared to be and yet I felt and heard nothing. No hum or mechanical whir or gust of wind even as it lazily floated by. I couldn’t wrap my head around what I was seeing, and felt that I could almost hit it with a rock should I throw one it appeared so close. My brother and I both ran inside yelling for our parents (something that they remember to this day) but by the time we all made it back out seconds later, the saucer was gone. This would have been around 1998-1999

Awesome that Nasa is digging deeper, sucks that some of the classified stuff won't be available when that's what really matters.

In the 1970's, myself, two of my best friends, and several strangers / non-connected observers all saw something appear in the sky, and as we all came together, from our different vantage points, to view the object more closely, we realized at that time we were all looking at the same object, directly above us in the night sky. Small at first, but moving slowly downward over time, we eventually watched it hover, maybe 100 - 200 ft. above the roof of a house. It stayed there for several minutes, while we noticed vehicles on the street slowing down to look at this same strange object! Eventually, it once again ascended, and moved away, until it was out of sight. Everyone there agreed on EXACTLY the same details as to what we had all witnessed. I have never had any experience like this to date, and speak of it only rarely. No idea what it was, but one thing we all agreed on - it made absolutely NO NOISE. No sound whatsoever. And, this thing was really quite large (about the size in square feet of your average house...).

I must also add that the object was, indeed, shaped much like a disk or "saucer". No, this was NOT a BALLOON, although we did discuss all possibilities at the time...

Hell, if it had been only myself, or even just me and one or two of my friends, then I could easily have ruled this a group hallucination. But some of these people we either barely knew, or didn't know AT ALL!!! This was also viewed over a long period of time - upwards of 30 minutes!

So, we each SAW an object, which then moved slowly downwards and sideways until it eventually settled in one location, above a house roof, where it remained, hovering and always completely SILENT, before again moving away and upwards, until it was gone. It never left my sight once during the entire incident. It was not fast at all, but almost frighteningly slow.

Before you ask - NO, I don't believe in "little green men", or visitors from outer space! I am only telling you this because incidents like this can, and DO, happen to a lot more people than you would think, many who never report it! Like I said, I rarely speak of it. I just wanted to share, today...

Anyone who factually has witnessed unidentified aerial phenomena never denies having seen something seemingly unearthly. Personal example, years ago camping in Moab (UT) we were sleeping under the stars. Each is silent inside his sleeping bag. In the upward distance appears an extra large satellite passing overhead. Suddenly the glowing object instantly changes its trajectory to a vertical climb. Within seconds after that change in direction and velocity it vanishes. None says anything. We all fall asleep. At breakfast, cooking eggs and eating oatmeal, someone blurted: I Saw A UFO Last Night. Then everyone unanimously voices his having witnessed the same phenomena. At that time, each agrees on the description of the object that had been seen and about how it moved and vanished. Witness an inexplicable event as that remains unforgettable. Rock on!

If they are "just visiting ", their technology must be very advanced. For the time it takes for Earthlings to pay a visit, its either a one way trip or another lifetime to learn of the outcome.
