My opinion they should use Amazon and or peacock with NBC and Fox for the fans who can not watch live without tv or having to watch after the race is uploaded to yt

If Amazon Prime goes as an option along with Fox and NBC then that’s good but if it’s just Amazon Prime then we’re fucked

I do not get why other network channels (like ESPN and TNT) are not committing serious efforts to get NASCAR back, as both networks stated that they are now open again to NASCAR returning to their TV channels.

I am surprised that both the CW & Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) (which owns TBS, TNT, MotorTrend & HBO Max) are not being discussed as possible partners for NASCAR in addition to the ones being mentioned. The CW as of late has taken an interest in sports having gotten the rights to air LIV Golf for the next 3 years along with airing an Indy 500 documentary later this spring which will likely lead to them being a player in the next Indycar TV contract that begins next year. I should also point out that the CW is an over the air station meaning you don't need cable to access it & it has an app that is free to stream.
As for WBD their interest in NASCAR comes from the fact that currently from mid June (when the NBA & NHL playoffs end)- early October (when the MLB playoffs start) they have no live sports or programming in general on the weekends. I am sure that the executives at WBD are sick & tired of showing old movies, American Dad reruns from 2007 & Law & Order reruns from 25 years ago on TBS & TNT on summer weekends. Getting NASCAR back for the 2nd half of the season would get people to tune into both networks. Both TBS & TNT have a rich history with NASCAR & played a major role in its growth. They also don't have college football & the NFL on weekends to deal with so races that run long won't be moved around as is the case currently with NBC. When it comes to HBO Max, it could be used to stream races alongside TBS/TNT & MotorTrend could be the home of the Truck Series along with any NASCAR related documentary programs. Lastly, MotorTrend already has experience in covering racing having been the US home for the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the past 3 years.

My opinion: all NBC races (Cup or Xfinity) should be simulcast on NBC (TV), NBC Sports (app), and Peacock.

Why keep the NBC Sports app in the mix, seems kinda redundant right? Because NBC still wants to drive traffic through traditional means without giving Peacock a cut, like those who are just dipping their feet into streaming and can login to the app with their traditional cable user account in most cases.

No, I repeat, NO Amazon. Didn’t work out so well for the NFL this season, won’t work here as well.

If u seen this year's report about amazon coverage of Thursday night game of the NFL was a SHITSHOW in picture quality and the viewing figures were shocking

I'm not fond of NASCAR going to streaming, but if they want to do it, they should at least also have it simulcasted on TV.

If nascar goes to prime or peacock that's the end of it

The NFL is ass on Amazon. So hopefully NASCAR doesn't go to them.

The amount of times he said “numbers” and I immediately thought of Black Ops 1 is embarrassing 💀

I’m a 24 year old fan and a college student. Although I like streaming, I don’t want to pay more for both cable and streaming if a series is exclusive to streaming. Also as a Canadian, peacock from my knowledge is not available in this country

Please give me nascar on Amazon prime I don’t have tv I can’t watch the races live I hate it I know that it needs to be on tv for the health of the sport but it’s 2023 let us stream from a major platform also

Can we just get Allen Bestwick back on NBC and find a replacement for Mike Joy at FOX?

If Fox gets NASCAR again, we're screwed

I honestly can't see NASCAR experimenting with Truck Series races since Fox seems pretty happy with showing every Truck Series race. I could see some select Xfinity races on Amazon and maybe some Arca races too. I think NBC still having the summer plays a part in this in wanting to have NASCAR back. Maybe Amazon could carry the Xfinity races that will on July and August months of leading up to the next Olympic year in 2024.

Also John Oran on this NASCAR story? Damn he covers every sport and gets mentioned a lot on Sports illustrated.

I want something different actually.

I want the Daytona 500 to rotate, much like the Super Bowl. Like it used to with fox and nbc from 01-06.

Mainly because it worked. If you look at the ratings from that time. The Daytona 500 viewership was at its highest during that time. Even after Earnhardt’s passing.

Personally. I want Fox to cover until the midway point. I then want ESPN for the back half of the schedule with one exception. All of the Chase races are on ABC. No exceptions.

NBC has to go because it’s clear that higher ups don’t care about the sport. You don’t give more mainstream attention to Indycar over nascar (main nbc gets Indycar more than nascar).

Let ESPN cover the races before the chase then let abc broadcast tv cover the championship 10 races.

And since we’re rotating the 500. Have the finale rotate as well.

We need as many network TV races as possible FOX and NBC need to give better promotion to NASCAR as well. NASCAR better not get pushed aside for USFL on FOX. If the PGA Tour is on NBC at the same time, that's more understandable.
