I like the closeups of the birds. And watching them dissect a walnut and using the mini pond.

You’ll be happy to know that “Barrio” is an actual word so Apollo accidentally spoke Spanish, lol. I worked at a restaurant with that name so it’s how I learned what it means

Apollo is not a pet, he’s definitely a roommate.

Learning a recorder to play for Apollo might be easier than flute. It would be cute to see Apollo dance & sing - my Quaker dances and sings to music.

I bet Apollo would pick up on playing air hockey pretty easily 😊❤ maybe you could get a small air hockey table once you get a bigger place . Sounds interesting 🤔🤗😊❤

Great videos and work with your birds! I raised a minhabird and he was a fast learner. I liked watching him stand on one foot as he concentrated on the new words i was teaching him. In his own he picked "whats goiing on....pause, nothing much or sameol same old from my best friend and i talking. He said rock and roll, reggae music and was learning "one good thing about music when hits you feel "no pain." one good thing covered when I rehomed him then began learning chinese. Im glad to have had time with him. Thanks for sharing

Yeah, Apollo seems to have translated "wanna earn a snack" as "I want to engage with the humans in some way; the exact activity is irrelevant".

Of course, I also think he keeps saying "fire" because he's cold, so take this with a grain of salt.

"When it's not sunny he gets big feelings". LOL. Awhh. Poor baby.

I know it isn't quite the same, but maybe a sun light would be beneficial? They help me!

I've been watching Apollo almost 2 years and i think he's learned a lot. I think everyone just wants him to sit around and just say a million different words and not take in consideration that not only is he saying words he's putting them in complete sentence and when he asks questions he really wants to do it not just constantly saying the question with no meaning such as wanna go outside or let's go outside, he is wanting to go outside if he is chewing on the wall edge he knows he's not suppose to do that and he tells himself "Apollo stop chewin or stop that no chewing . There's a bug, there's a bird outside, see the squirrels Apollo isn't just saying it because he can he's saying it to make conversation and he either sees those particular things, hears or thinks he sees them outside the window he don't just sit around saying all those things just to be saying them. I heard a question about someone asking why you weren't teaching him new words and i just thought i would mention how smart he is and that it's not just words some are complete sentences or questions that he really wants to do or knows that's what you want. Love you guys and your aminals including Mr gecko ( kiki )? in which ide really like to see occasionally, i have 5, 1 of which is 16 or 17 and doesn't act any different than the younger ones which are 5, 5, 4 and 7 but of course get him out after the predators go to bed 😁😊
Why do i say so much dang ?
