In the third season of the action-thriller series, Jack Ryan is working as a CIA case officer in Rome, when he is tipped off that the Sokol Project, a secret plan to restore the Soviet Empire, is being resurrected more than 50 years after it was thought to have been shut down. Jack embarks on amission to confirm the intelligence, but things quickly go awry, and he is wrongly implicated in alarger conspiracy. Accused of treason, with a Red Notice out for his arrest, Jack is forced to run from his own government, if he has any hope of uncovering the rogue faction before it’s too late. Crisscrossing Europe as he is hunted by former allies and new enemies alike, Jack races against the clock to stop the cascade of destabilizing conflicts from leading to global catastrophe. The series stars John Krasinski in the titular role, with Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly reprising their roles as CIA Officer James Greer and former CIA Officer Mike November, respectively. Joiningthe cast this season are Nina Hoss as Czech President Alena Kovac and Betty Gabriel as CIA Rome Station Chief Elizabeth Wright.

What is the best season of Jack Ryan??

Luka is that character that stole the show for me this Season.
Loved his entire arc.

Matice was my favorite in the series. New op, new name. Kinda badass but has a good sense of humor. Then they killed his character in Season 2. Mike November has been a great addition to the series.

This season gave me the same kind of tension and suspense as the first season. Not quite on the same level of quality, but damn near close. That final episode had my heart rate through the roof. What a bounce back after the slightly disappointing second season. Well worth the wait. And as far as I know, season 4 was already announced.

I hope Luka wasn’t killed, as he was easily the standout character for me. Kinda reminded me of a more moral Littlefinger. Bring on, season 4!

Season 3 is EVERYTHING Season 2 should have been. A great return to form.
Like Season 1 this was like a throwback to 1980s thrillers. Very highly recommended.

I thought this show was just over since we have had such a big gap between season 2 and 3 but I am glad to see that it’s still alive.

None of the writers seemed to have any basic knowledge of geography. Somehow a dingy sails from somewhere in the Black Sea, through the Bosphorus Strait in Turkey without being spotted, and then travels to the south side of Greece (gas must not exist in this universe). It was pretty lazy writing. Worst season by far and the end of season 2 was ridiculous.

I felt that for the entire middle part if the show things were happening but the plot wasn’t moving forward.

Just completed watching it. It was overall a good watch.

Spoiler (somewhat)... The rogue agent thing is a bit played out at this point. The Czech president running around in the Kremlin basements is also a bit corny as well. The weapons dealer plot was a bit forced and frankly... dumb. However, I like the old soldier flashback scenes and the acting, for the most part, is excellent.

Everebody speaks English every where. They can go 1000km from Black Sea to South Grece with a zodiac boat. This should be a science fiction.

Luka was the best character to me this season, I was hoping more out of Mike, I really did like him in season 2. He is still as funny as ever in my opinion.

3 was great. Maybe better than 1. Reminded me of 80s spy thrillers. Had a lot of Hunt for Red October and Sum of All Fears influence.

Finished all 8 episodes. Better than season 2 but I did have some problems with certain characters and plot. Wasn't as smart as a Bourne movie or Bond movie in terms of villains and dialogues.

But enjoyable overall and moved fairly quickly. But again just some issues with plot and motivations of characters.

Going to watch the first episode soon! Austin I am curious though, what is so strange to me about this show in particular is that while I like it a lot and think it's fun, for some reason it's also one of the more forgettable shows I've seen. I don't mean that as a bad thing, but for some reason I don't find myself remembering a lot of what has happened in the prior two seasons. Again I like the show a lot but maybe that's just me. Anyone else feel that way?

Just finished this season and it seems it has notable callback from the older Jack Ryan movie.

Also I did not expect that Luka would be such a badass character! Actor played it so well.

Are those the rus pres secret service that took him? He may probably be killed as to what usually the russians do in movies.
