How to fix Windows 10 black screen with cursor before login (crtl+Alt+ Del not working)

Thank you a lot. I let it sit and it fixed itself after about 15 minutes. It's working properly now. I first tried the ctrl and the other buttons and nothing worked. Then I searched on my phone on Google for more solutions, then this video came my way. And I followed your advice and let it sit, then it worked on its own. Thank you so much, I'm so relieved now. Guys this is a weird fix but this is what worked for me: press the power button once (don't hold) then quickly press space bar and then type your desktop login code. As soon as I did that in desperation the screen lit up and I screamed in exhausted happiness

Bro you literally saved me from losing all my data. I was just gonna repair my PC through troubleshooting and end up losing all my data and games but this was the last video I came through and decided to follow your advice then guess what? I was dying with this problem ....but somehow this worked for me !
Shut down the system using power button and then start the system by pressing the power button and immediately start clicking alt+ Ctrl+del as many times as you can (keep doing it and somehow at some point your login window pops up and boom all done !)

my pc randomly when i restarted it started working and functioning correctly but when i got to the blue windows loading screen after it i just got a black screen and i could still see my cursor and it kept continuously loading and my keyboard did not work at all and i cant go into safe mode or anything like that because my bios is ancient

Yeah it works after a while. After the black screen I booted to command prompt mode to check if my files were still there, they were then I looked for solutions because this should be something os related and was about to run startup repair and then remove recent updates. I saw the video and thought i should try to boot normally once again and it worked. Don't know what happened.

Another fix is if you have 2+ video cables plugged in, unplug everyone except for one screen that you can actually use. It should give you whatever menu you were missing. For me I had factory reset my pc and couldn’t get the set up to start, this fixed it.

it's working! I tried everything else but waiting seems to be the only method that works, although took me 6 hours to start the pc. Also, when I try to restart the pc the same problem happens again. Did you have the same problem the second time? How did you solve it? Also you got a new sub bro

Mine happened by opening up Intel graphics cmd center, and extending external display, any tips man? I haven't tried the waiting method yet but im asking just in case of this method being for another cause.
