Yes, diversification is key. Also, I remember the 90's when I "learned" all about gold and demise of fiat. None of those guys (and some of them have popped up again since 2020) will compensate you for the opportunity cost had you taken their advice. Understand opportunity cost and know that you can't predict the future, that is futile.

Another reason the Ship has sailed on cutting spending is according to the Government around 15% of jobs are connected directly and/or indirectly to government bloat. Keep in mind that’s the Government’s own numbers which are likely low in this case.. So, if you drastically cut spending it will lead to an economic catastrophe in and of itself.

Sadly the only way out IMO is collapse, how long that will take is anyone’s guess. But, I’m betting it will happen soon, rather than later..

why not monero rather than bitcoin? say that bitcoin is or isn't dollar denominated monero is everything bitcoin isn't. so in the absence of the dollar being important and the technology itself being the core value of holding such a thing. If the argument of popularity I can see that but bitcoin has and will be used to track you.
