I hated to hear about these pins backing out because I literally ordered a set of RPM A-arms for my X-MAXX just 2 minutes before seeing this video. Fortunately, you have a perfect solution that's VERY easy to do to resolve the problem. I was able to see everything step by step, even seeing some hiccups before you even mentioned them. Thanks a bunch for your video and help !!!! GREAT video by the way !!!!

What size or number are those nylon washers?

great mod.. looks like the front top pin still needs a washer on the nut side so the excess shaft doesn't push through. thanks for the vid !

Let's just stay away from the RPM arms. 😂. I've had my stock ones on and have not broken one yet. It's all about the landing! I've launched my Xmaxx 60 feet and at least 25 feet high in a jump. Didn't break a thing! I've just heard too many problems with the pen on the RPMs. If it Ain't broke don't fix it! lol you can see that jump on my channel. I hope that fix works for you. Let me know.

Awesome. I'm having trouble with a hinge pin coming off all the time with a stock a arm. I'm going to give this a shot.

Hey Oscar Trevizo, So you did a little modification to the upper front arms to fit the Cen hinge pin in by the steering carriers, you were not getting the full steering travel because the allen head of the hinge bolt was sticking out and by fixing it you counter sunk the head deep enough for the allen head to clear the steering carrier at full turning travel. So you fixed that problem now you have the issue after counter sinking the allen head the pin is stuck out too far at the other end to the point when you screw the nut on the threaded end you ran out of threads. To fix that you added a thick nylon spacer in between it, my question to you is where do you get the nylon spacer from and whats the dimensions on it?

I didn’t notice the steering restriction when I put my CEN hinge pins in. I thought it was just a bad servo. Going to make that adjustment to get full steering again. Thanks!

I'm a machinist by trade, drilling that is not good

That's smart. But it looks like those threads shank out a little bit. I guess what I'm saying if you screw that nut all the way down there will still be a little bit a slop in a pin. What happens if you do not drill into the arm to have one side of that pin not recessed in. Would that work? Or does it put it in the way of the steering rod?
