Saw them in 2010. Alice came out after the set with a bottle of whiskey and performed a couple more. Legendary. One of my all time favorite shows. Team Alice 100%.

You can see that every time Alice speaks she looks at the dude nervously when she finishes to make sure she said the right thing. You can tell she’s afraid of him.

You can tell that Alice is psychologically messed up from his abuse by her body language. Everyone thought it was part of her persona, but she was really screaming on mute.

Look at Alice's face when Ethan said he wrote everything and gave it to her to add anything. At around 2:30 right before the transition. Her face visibly contorts. I could definitely see Ethan trying to make her feel less important than she actually was. CC died when Alice left. Ethan is good at making music but he should have changed the name when she left.

u sure about that ? minimizing Alice's work isn't a good thing, Ethan. Poor Alice, she was looking down.

The way she interviews now and the way she interviewed back then is very different. She seems to be holding herself back and she often paints herself as unknowing and misinformed. This is common among abuse victims when speaking in front of audience.
