There's a movie about this. I remember watching the ending of that movie. The father and his family agrees to die together so he killed his wife and kids by shooting them when finally it was his turn to die he was met with military trucks coming in for support the last minute. The father didn't kill himself in the end. It was a depressing scene unlike here where Nick celebrates like a frickin jockey.

this reminds me of a game i played of the parish with a bunch of randos
we all died except for elllis, who somehow managed to make it towards the end despite almost dying to a ledge, having almost no health the entire round, and being rushed by every single special infected.
but despite all that, they made it to the chopper whilst everyone else died on the way

I’m starting to think what if Nick hadn’t fired? Maybe Zoye and the rest of the team drove down the alley because they heard gunshots. If Coach, Nick, Ellis and Rochelle hadn’t given up, they would have tried to stay calm which would have meant they wouldn’t hit the team from the first Left 4 Dead. Or maybe Francis would have hit the streets anyway, who knows?
