Craven’s CDC Stonefly
In today’s video, Rick (The FlyFish Fanatic)™ will be tying a stonefly pattern by Charlie Craven. This is a GREAT pattern that if weighted, sinks like a rock and works great in seams, fast water and small pocket water. Must have in your river fly box.
Materials:
Hook- Hends BL200 size 8
Thread- Semperfli Nanosilk white
Tail- Pheasant Tail Fibers
Body- Hends Hard Dubbing
Rib- Semperfli Silver wire .2mm
Flashback- Lateral Scale
Underwing- Olive CDC
Wing- Hungarian Partridge
Head- Gold Bead
