Employers of Young Workers: Talk to Workers About Workplace Safety (Movie Theatre) | WorkSafeBC

As an employer or supervisor, you’re responsible for ensuring your workers are prepared to do their job safely before they start. Effective training and orientation is the best way to prevent work-related injuries.

Workers of all ages can be injured at work, but young and new workers may be more at risk. Injuries can result from inadequate training, orientation, and supervision; inexperience; and lack of awareness of workplace rights and responsibilities.
