Installation of the First Turbine at the World’s Highest Wind Power Project

Basu 100MW Wind Power Project, the first of its kind in southeastern Xizang, involves the installation of 20 wind turbines developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, with the highest turbine located at an impressive elevation of 5,200 meters—making it the highest wind power project under construction in the world.

Since breaking ground in April, our team has successfully completed the installation of all 20 turbines in just six months, with grid connection anticipated by the end of October. In this video, we showcase the installation process of the first turbine.
