Why do you have two AP Precalculus 1.11B videos?
One was posted in September, another was posted in October.

Which one is correct?
I looked at them and example 3 seems to be the difference between the two videos. Which answer and process is correct? And why is it correct?

Because the October video is posted at a later date, I’m guessing the October video is the correct solution. But when I looked at the September video, I don’t get why it’s wrong because it seems like it makes sense.
At time stamp 5:19, it seems you’re using the fractional value -3/2, but on the other one you used the decimal value -1.5. We can still use -3/2 right? We just have to decide the coefficients of the numerator by 2 and it’ll be fine right? On this one, you didn’t divide the coefficients by 2, while the other one, you did.

(Ex. 3) Synthetic division cannot be used if divisor is not in the form of (x-a). Long division will produce the correct slant asymptote at y=2x-2 not at y = 4x-4
