"La Vie en Rose" ("life in pink") is the signature song of popular French singer Édith Piaf, written in 1945. It was famously recorded by Louis Armstrong in 1952. Lyric by Édith Piaf and music by Louiguy.

When I was a child, I heard the Little Sparrow of Paris sing this song on the radio, and though I didn’t understand a word, it filled my heart with a beautiful feeling. Then I head Pops play and sing this song in English on TV. This is a wonderful rendition, too. The violinist is marvelous and a star in his own right. Love to hear him do Stephane Grappelly compositions.
