The meme was borne after a statement by Vladimir Putin on March 4, 2014, at a press conference in response to a question about the origin of the military that seized Crimea. He claimed that there are no Russian soldiers there.

Brilliant, true history of Ukraine. So Russia get the hell out of Ukraine. Go back 800 years and you will see it.
