Team Fortress 2 is a 2007 multiplayer first-person shooter game developed and published by Valve Corporation. It is the sequel to the 1996 Team Fortress mod for Quake and its 1999 remake, Team Fortress Classic.

The Necro Smasher is an unlockable melee weapon for all classes with the exception of the Spy. It is a slightly-cracked team-colored wooden mallet with a detached, blood spattered robotic arm hanging off the handle and a metal ring going around the head. When equipped on BLU, the metal appears a lighter shade of gray and the wood appears a darker shade of brown.

This weapon functions identically to the wielder's default melee weapon.

The Necro Smasher is awarded to any player who obtains the Carnival of Carnage: Step Right Up Merasmachievement.
