We leave you this Sunday at California's Yosemite National Park (closed by snow this year), where last year's "firefall" – when the falls are lit by the setting sun – was one for the ages. Videographer: Lance Milbrand.

Yosemite an amazing climb. Got lost up there (carrying heavy pack, 'friend' ran on ahead), had to listen to sound of waterfall to find my way down.

One of these days I will finally visit Yosemite and capture an image of the firefalls.

I'm obsessed and in love with Yosemite National Park and I haven't even been there yet! I hope to in the near future. I live on the east coast so it would be a plane ride across the country but I know it would be worth it

Beautiful...
(I want to move out of the City. No train wrecks no car racing at 2am in the morning. No open ended conversation from whom ever). Just peace. Thank you!

I am so glad we have national parks protected from exploitation.

God's elements are so beautiful. Man will never see all his creations. However, let's enjoy what we can see...and praise God.

Awww! I thought this was going to be a ‘tip of the hat’ to the “real” firefall they used to do way back in the day. When at nightfall, they’d push buckets og glowing coals over the rock escarpment. Truly a huge fire potential, but magnificent to see.

What bird is that singing so unusually?

How did you get a Firefall shot with no people? There were hundreds of people watching when I was there a few weeks ago.

It's not the real Firefall from back in the 60's... That I remember seeing as a kid

Too bad you could not spend the money to get actual video clips from Horsetail Falls. Panning over stills doesn't cut it. I usually enjoy your nature segments, but this one is disappointing. The grandeur of Yosemite is hard to capture in imagery, but you could have done better.
