SpaceX New Raptor Engine V3, V4 just HUMILIATED Blue Origin and NASA, even Russia!!!
There are about 125 types of engines produced worldwide, but all of them pale in comparison to SpaceX's latest advanced rocket engine, the Raptor engine.
But more importantly, a variant of this super powerful engine called the Raptor Vacuum has somehow become an almost unimaginable engineering marvel.
Let’s explore this engine in SpaceX’s latest test on today’s episode of Alpha Tech:
SpaceX New Raptor Engine V3, V4 just HUMILIATED Blue Origin and NASA, even Russia!!!
Over the past weekend, we all witnessed the explosive static fire test of Ship 30. However, what was even more special was that thanks to the new test infrastructure, for the first time, close-up videos beneath the engines were released with such authenticity. Six engines were ignited in sequence, starting with the three outer vacuum engines, followed by the three inner sea-level Raptor engines.
But what we're most interested in is likely the operation of the Raptor vacuum. The reason for this is that the Raptor vacuum engines are different from the sea-level engines. While sea-level engines are designed to operate efficiently at sea level and can be accurately tested on the ground, the Raptor vacuum engines are designed for use in the vacuum of space. These engines will play a crucial role in taking our Starship spacecraft to nearby planets in space without any obstacles.
SpaceX New Raptor Engine V3, V4 just HUMILIATED Blue Origin and NASA, even Russia!!!
To visualize this more clearly, we can also mention the test of reigniting the Raptor engines in space that SpaceX has skipped twice for Starship. This test could help the company determine whether the engines can restart in the extremely cold conditions caused by extended time in space. Of course, they have successfully conducted similar tests with the Raptor Vacuum in simulated vacuum environments at their test facilities, but it certainly wouldn't be as valuable as doing it in reality. With Starship's upcoming fifth launch, I believe that in addition to catching the Super Heavy with the launch tower, SpaceX will also perform the task of reigniting the engines in space.

I am slightly “HUMILIATED” that I click on such clickbait titles… but I’m way too interested in the topic. I think the audience is generally well informed here…please “read the room” guys. That said…I do enjoy the content…but cringe when hearing the rah rah SpaceX and everyone else sucks stuff.

man your videos really did come a long way. getting better and better. but your clickbaity titles, that glorify spacex really put a bad taste to them. :( i mean yea, spacex does and unbelievable job, but still...

No one is "Humiliated" by SpaceX improving more quickly....but Alpha tech can't seem to represent facts accurately....

Actually I find this guy boring. Why ot break the video 15min long with info told in video while talking?

SpaceX has stuck it's nose into the hog-trough previously reserved for aerospace contractors. It is a tremendous evolutionary leap in commercialized access to space but this has cut into the resources available to traditional aerospace contractors. Is it a coincidence that coincidence that access to the space station has been obstructed by a mysterious & lengthy problem encountered by one of the aerospace contractors previously enjoying rather exclusive access to space-transportation cash?

If there is even a 5% chance that Starliner will not make it back with the astronauts killing them on the return trip, NASA will not let them come back on Starliner, that’s an almost hundred percent certainty. They can’t leave them up there indefinitely and so it’s going to be an embarrassment but not as much so as if they die on the way back which would cancel cancel Starliner for good.

not a coinidence, the only PRIVATE AEROSPACE COMPANY is the MOST SUCCESSFUL at present.these other space companies, have too many employees doing nothing important.

Good episode. But wish it was cut into two parts at time stamp 33:44 when content switch to starliner.

I think other launch providers have utterly and completely missed the power of combining re-use with the built-out of Starlink in a self-funded environment. That combo has enabled SpaceX's crazy launch rate, which means they have so many more opportunities to improve their processes. It also makes it easy to justify improvements - a 1% reduction in processing time for a rocket that launches 20 times a year probably wouldn't move the needle much, but that same small improvement at 140 launches a year has seven times more effect. Put all that together and it's just going to become harder and harder for anyone to compete with SpaceX (which I think is a bad thing).

Wow, you certainly know how to use the absolute MOST words to say EXTREMELY little. For those of us with actual intelligence, you should have just narrated this video with the simple and SHORT phrase, "I don't know shit."

So I predict that September 30 because because how slow the FFA is. And you will be lucky if they make any effort of looking at the paper work.

IDU explanation of sea level vs vacuum. same engine should result in less thrust in space, not more.

This channel is becoming really toxic and difficult to watch. Every video is about space x humiliating other companies. We should support every company that is trying to do hard work to get to space

Some (but certainly not all) of the negative might have a little bit of fact, but really it is always great to watch video updates and space news !
