Wargaming and World of Warships Apologizes Again but Who Cares

Another incident, another wargaming and world of warships apology. This one revolving around the Yukon battleship that Little White Mouse helped bring to life. At this point, who cares and what does it matter that WG apologized? It's happened so much that no matter how sincere, it rings hollow. How have we gotten here? It's a combination of poor communication, a revolving door and the free to play model which all add up to horrid PR. Here's an inside look.

As someone that has Done A-Lot of work with Russian oil and gas companies, communication is a common problem and is almost systematic of doing business with them.

I would think WG actually doesnt value the veterans of the game because as they accumulate ships and resources, their actual spending potential goes down. They have a business interest in getting rid of the people who already have "everything" and bring in new people who will spend just to not be at a huge disadvantage. Welcome to the economics 101 of freemium games indeed.

Jingles had a good take on this and the Yukon debacle. Apparently, this has happened once every year for the last four years with WG. It makes you wonder what they have planned to apologize for next year. It seems their PR office consists of one man and his dog in a small no windowed office that's mainly used for storage. I seems that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing in WG. I suppose to make up for their disregard for the community is to bring back LWM original plans for the ship.

Wargaming did the exact same thing to White Mouse it sounds like that they did to the entire North American beta test team in WoWP..
In one update they completely destroyed EVERYTHING that the testers had worked so hard to perfect.
Everything from the flight model to the way you scored points.
Their response was empty, shallow, and careless.
Now then, just look at how successful that game became. "It's Junk"

I left the game after the commander rework and I could not do a better decision. It was a strange feeling to click uninstall but after a while I started to be happy. Now I only watch CCs and their comments on the state of this game and I love these videos… it is amusing how WG continues with their screw ups.:)

This is one of you best videos ever. I agree with everything you said, specially point 3. In the end, they don´t care. They don´t care about the players, the CCs and even their own employees. As long as the money keeps rolling in. WG is a shit company It pains me that this shit company makes a game I love to play.

What can we do about it? Nothing. Like you said, if we leave, two more new people will come in spend money and bla bla bla. It will continue to happen until the game isn´t profitable for them anymore and then they will just shut everything down and go home with millions in their pockets.
